The Lebanese Army said in a statement on Saturday that its troops have deployed around all Lebanese regions to ensure that a curfew order to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus is respected.
“Army units deployed in all Lebanese regions executed exceptional measures to implement the curfew decision from 7:00 pm until 5:00 am,” the Army Command-Orientation Directorate said in a statement.
The army stressed the need to abide by the “general mobilization” measures and urged all citizens to stay at home and refrain from going out for non-essential reasons, and from gatherings.
