Lebanese Ministry of Information
Caretaker Information Minister, Manal Abdel Samad, on Wednesday decided to assign two Information Ministry employees to follow up on people’s requests to access information, as per Law 28/2017.
The minister requested that all decisions, memorandums, and other documents be published on the ministry’s website, in accordance with this law.
She also formed a training unit for the ministry’s employees who are responsible for this mission.
Abdel Samad has also launched a media campaign to raise awareness among citizens on their right to access information in ministries and state administrations.
