Abdel Samad: Reform Projects And Sound Monetary Policies Are The Key To Strong And Sustainable Economic Growth

Caretaker Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, affirmed on Thursday via her “Twitter” account, that reform and development projects as well as sound monetary and fiscal policies are key factors leading to strong and sustainable economic growth.

“At a time when the world expects 6% GDP growth  in 2021, Lebanon is grappling with an unprecedented economic contraction reaching 25% in 2020 (source IMF),” said Minister Abdel Samad, adding that there are no better indications for the year 2021.

“The key to strong and sustainable economic growth lies in having reform and development projects, as well as sound fiscal and monetary policies. #Save our economy,” concluded the Minister.
