Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon, Hilde Haraldstad, welcomed Lebanon’s newly adopted media law in a post on X, praising “its potential to strengthen the right to freedom of expression and media freedom.”
“We encourage Lebanon to apply and interpret the new law in line with international commitments,” the Ambassador wrote.
