Lebanese Ministry of Information
Information Minister Dr. Paul Morcos , on Monday received a delegation from the Lebanese Private Sector Network, in his office at the ministry.
Minister Morcos als discussed technical matters with an Italian technical delegation.
Morcos also met with German Ambassador to Lebanon Thomas Zahneisen, accompanied by the embassy’s First Secretary for Political Affairs, on a courtesy visit marking the ambassador’s first visit to the Ministry of Information since taking up his diplomatic post.
On emerging, Ambassador Zahneisen described his meeting with Minister Morcos as useful and fruitful, saying discussions covered the overall media landscape in the country, prospects for cooperation, and ways to support the Lebanese government in media-related work and development.
The German ambassador also congratulated Lebanon on the positive steps and progress made on the media law dossier.
