Lebanese Ministry of Information
Information Minister, Attorney Paul Morcos, on Monday received Ayman Mhanna, Executive Director of the Samir Kassir Foundation, in his office at the ministry.
Speaking after the meeting, Mhanna said: “We discussed the new media law with Minister Morcos and presented him with a memorandum from the Samir Kassir Foundation concerning the law, which we support, but believe requires some further development.”
He added: “We also thanked Minister Morcos for the support he provided to secure protective gear for journalists and to help ensure their safety.”
