Information Minister Dr. Paul Morcos attended an evening organized by Fiftyfifty at Dawar El Shams theater in Tayyouneh, honoring women who have faced major personal and family challenges.
Morcos praised honorees Lara Khoury Hafez and Hiba Dandachli, saying that listening to their experiences and personal journeys deepened his appreciation for their resilience and determination.
He also thanked Fiftyfifty and the organizers for the initiative, commending their efforts to highlight women’s stories and bring greater public attention to the realities faced by mothers carrying family responsibilities largely on their own.
The event was also attended by Youth and Sports Minister Nora Bayrakdarian, MP Waddah Sadek and Fiftyfifty President Joelle Bou Farhat, and concluded with the play “Dunia” and the presentation of honorary shields to the two honorees.
