Change and Reform Parliamentary bloc MP Amal Abou Zeid, hailed the “dauntless endeavors of the Resistance fighters” and the Lebanese Army in dislodging militants entrenched in the northeastern town of Arsal.
“Greetings (…) from every Lebanese region to every Resistance fighter currently present in the rugged territories of the eastern mountain chain, and to every martyr who fell in the face of terrorists who have planted nothing but deaths, kidnapped and killed innocent people, and blown up different regions,” Abou Zeid said via Twitter earlier Monday.
“Very soon, the souls of our martyrs will rest in peace will rest in peace. Abou Malek Tali will not be able to own that hill, but his fate will be in a deep valley of fire where there is no Nusra, and no victory,” the MP’s tweet added.
He also echoed unlimited loyalty to the Lebanese Army institution.
“Our Army has preserved the borders and torpedoed terrorist schemes; it hindered their desperate attempts to repeat the scenario of infiltrating of Arsal. To these terrorists we say: The resistance stands ahead of you and the Army stands behind you, you have nowhere to escape,” Abou Zeid tweeted.
