Minister Of Information After Cabinet Session: Government Determined To Protect Lebanese At Home And Abroad

Minister of Information, Manal Abdel Samad, confirmed in the wake of the Cabinet session held this Tuesday at the Grand Serail that the “Lebanese [people’s] confidence in the State has been restored, and it must be strengthened.”

She indicated that “the government is determined to protect the Lebanese, at home and abroad.”

“We will spare no effort in this regard. Prime Minister Hassan Diab has stressed that we are very close to achieving the lists of citizens to whom financial aid will be provided. The launch of the operation will be announced tomorrow through the Lebanese Army which, in turn, has finalized its preparations. This program will target the poor,” Abdel Samad confirmed.
