“The delay in the investigation impedes the achievement of justice…This message applies to all files whose results are not yet known, most notably the Beirut Port explosion and the explosion of Tariq Jdideh yesterday,” Caretaker Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, said on Saturday via her Twitter account.
In another Tweet, Abdel Samad announced new Coronavirus cases in state-run TV Channel “Tele Liban”, saying: “Unfortunately, we have two new Coronavirus cases within the Tele Liban team. I wish speedy recovery for those affected with the virus and I call on citizens to demonstrate awareness and responsibility, especially children and youth that transmit the disease very easily to their family.”
Abdel Samad concluded by saying: “The issue is not a joke, so let us control the Coronavirus before it controls and eliminates us.”
