Abdel Samad Receives Michael Haddad To Launch “People With Special Needs” Platform In Support Of Beirut

Caretaker Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, on Tuesday received in her office at the ministry, the Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Climate Action of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Michael Haddad.

Ambassador Haddad, who was paralyzed at the age of six, thanked Minister Abdel Samad for supporting the activity to be held tomorrow [Wednesday] to launch a platform for people with special needs and inclusive education, jointly organized by ESCWA and UNDP.

The activity includes a walk led by Michael Haddad, and aims to mitigate the effects of the Beirut Port explosion on people with special needs, in addition to supporting the city of Beirut, which was severely affected.
