The final statement of the Arab summit calls for devoting efforts to solve the Palestinian issue

The final statement called for the twenty-seventh of the Arab summit which was held in the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott to devote efforts to solve the Palestinian issue .
The summit has begun its work in the absence of more than half of the Arab leaders .
It was decided that the Summit will be held for one day instead of two days because of the absence of prominent Arab leaders . While attended to Nouakchott nine leaders of all the most prominent Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al -Sabah as well as the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi .
Like Lebanon at the summit Prime Minister Tammam Salam at the head of a delegation comprising Minister of Social Affairs Rashid Derbas , Ambassador to Algeria Ghassan Al moualem and representative of Lebanon at the Arab League Antoine Azzam , and Acting embassy in Senegal, the representative of Lebanon in Mauritania Naji al -Khalifa.
Salam assured that “We have a clear stance, Hizbullah is a Lebanese party and a major component in the political structure of Lebanon, and we are keen on fortifying the internal front of Lebanon and on Lebanon’s steadfastness in face of the current difficult situation.”

The statement, which included a 13 -item ” rejection of foreign interference in the affairs of Arab countries.”
The statement rival Arab parties also called for a solution to crises in a friendly manner to avoid any external interference, such as the crisis in Yemen and Syria.
The meeting also invited the Libyan parliament to recognize the new government headed by Fayez Al siraj.
The head of this session, the President of Mauritania , Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz , who took over the presidency of the Arab summit, Egypt, which chairs the delegation of Prime Minister , Ismail Sharif .
