Lebanese Ministry of Information
Caretaker Minister of Information, Manal Abdel Samad, received this Friday the French ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, with talks touching on Lebanese-French relations.
Abdel Samad thanked Abdel “French President Emmanuel Macron for his efforts to push for the formation of a government in Lebanon.”
She also praised France’s “humanitarian aid provided in the wake of the August 4 explosion.”
She touched on “strengthening the existing cooperation between the ministry and the French embassy on the level of Francophone media within the ministry, and at the level of the media in general.”
The ambassador, in turn, underlined “the historical relations between Lebanon and France and the importance of Francophone media within the ministry of information,” expressing “her desire to bolster the existing cooperation with the ministry.”
