Lebanese Ministry of Information
Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Thursday inspected the Hazmieh-based Télé Liban building and toured all its departments.
“I expected Télé Liban in Hazmieh would be in better conditions,” the Minister told reporters.
“Neither Télé Liban nor the Information Ministry is poor,” he said. “We will try our best to do something,” he vowed, revealing that a new project for the building will be announced in the next few days.
The Minister added that the state-television dossier was the thorniest of all the Information Ministry’s files.
“Yes, there will be a plan which we will announce soon,” he stressed.
In response to a question, Makary promised he will be seriously working on appointing a new board of directors at Télé Liban.
