Minister of Information, Ziad Al-Makary, on Monday welcomed in his office at the Ministry, a delegation representing the Syndicate of workers in audio-visual media in Lebanon, headed by Rindala Jabbour.
The meeting reportedly focused on an array of media affairs, especially those related to audio-visual media.
On emerging, Jabbour said that they tackled with the Minister joint media affairs between the Syndicate and the Ministry.
Jabbour added that they handed the Minister a memorandum including several points, most notably on the modern media law, a regulatory body for the sector, as well as social, services and health affairs for audio-visual workers, in addition to several issues, most prominently the profession’s ethics.
She went on to say that they also discussed the means of cooperation during the upcoming parliamentary elections, to facilitate media professionals’ affairs.
