Makary Discusses With “Samir Kassab Award” Committee Award’s Legal Mechanisms, Nominated Categories

Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Tuesday held a meeting at his ministry office with the “Samir Kassab Award” preparatory Committee- designed to be awarded annually to three distinguished journalistic works, on the World Press Freedom Day, which falls on May 3 every year.

The meeting had been attended by Minister Makary’s Legal Advisor Lawyer Boutros Franjieh, and professional photographers Roger Moukarzel, Ammar Abd Rabbo and Patrick Baz

The meeting was devoted to discussing the legal mechanisms of the award, categories’ nominations, objectives, adopted criteria, jury committee members, and its venue and date.
