Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Al-Makary, tweeted: “From Nabatiyeh, the birthplace of inventor Hassan Kamel Al-Sabah, the star of Sadiq Al-Sabah shone, as he carried his homeland of the Cedars to the world…He deserves this honor, because he believed in the abilities of the Lebanese human to the bone, in addition to securing job opportunities aimed at keeping young people in their lands…The Union of Arab Producers now has its headquarters in Beirut thanks to his efforts and the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Information.”
He added: “Gratitude goes to former Minister Yassin Jaber, the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social Center, and the Makassed Islamic Philanthropic Association for bringing us together in honoring a creative artist from Lebanon.”
