Lebanese Ministry of Information
Information Minister, Paul Morcos, said his role requires addressing all the Lebanese and conveying Cabinet decisions, noting criticism does not deter him as it often stems from misunderstanding the position.
The Minister stressed ministerial solidarity, even when he personally objects within Cabinet.
Morcos highlighted heavy human losses, exceeding 2,500 killed and 7,500 wounded, and warned of repeated attacks on journalists and the danger of fake news, noting a unit was created with UNESCO to combat disinformation.
He emphasized the need for unity and confirmed ongoing coordination among President Joseph Aoun, Speaker Nabih Berri and PM Nawaf Salam.
